Job Description

 

Technical Skills Required: Basic (Minimum) Qualifications:

Ø  6+ years of production support experience

Ø  3+ years implementing and supporting SharePoint 2007 with knowledge of new SharePoint 2010 features

Ø  4+ years SQL Server, OLAP experience and competency T-SQL stored procedure development, analysis, and troubleshooting, performance and tuning Knowledge of Windows 2003 / 2008 server and IIS and .NET Knowledge of basic networking and hardware (F5) load balancing

Ø  BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field (or equivalent additional industry experience)

 

Functional Skills Required Preferred Qualifications:

Ø  Experience with performance tuning, failover technologies and strategies

Ø  In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technology and software including Windows, IIS, SQL, ASP/ASP .NET, SharePoint 2007 / 2010

Ø  Implementation and support of a Content Management System SQL

Ø  Administration including performance tuning and data analysis Database implementation, DB internals MCSE, MCDBA ,MCPITDBA or equivalent work experience/training

Ø  Basic networking and hardware load balancing experience MS in computer science, information systems or engineering

Ø  Experience working in a 24X7 environment

Ø  Knowledge of software lifecycle methodology and Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) A passion for customer support
