Position: Sr Systems Analyst

Location:  Richmond, VA

Duration:  9.5 Months (Contract)

Rate: Negotiable

Qualifications:

Translate business requirement documents into key project solution deliverables including system requirement specifications, system use case specifications, activity, collaboration, state and use case diagrams, process flows, user interface wire frames and data. Create the detailed Work Breakdown Structures and estimates for new applications and integration with vendor packages. Collaborate with architects, programmer analysts and other systems analysts to integrate and optimize solutions Create and execute detailed system test scripts to validate expected functionality among all application tiers while also facilitating defect prioritization and resolution. Prefer a person that can help resolve issues, work with a good team, very organized, enjoys challenges, works with the business in solving issues. Individual needs to have Oracle experience. Prefer a person that understands object-oriented programming, such java. Also, prefer a person that knows ERWIN, VISIO, Use

Responsibilities:

Design the system for which developers utilize persistent domain objects using DI, AOP and Spring Object Relational Mapping (ORM with JPA/Hibernate).

Responsibilities
·         Works fairly independently, this role is competent to work on the most complex projects at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities.
·         Formulates or defines system scope and objectives based on user needs. 
·         Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer capacity and limitations, operating time and for of desired results.
·         Is responsible for working with multiple business units in multi-platform environments on multi-project assignments.
·         Guides and advises less experienced Systems Analysts. 
·         Monitored on project's progress and results. 
·         Errors may cause delay, expense and disruption. 

Qualifications
·         Experience in programming or systems analysis desired. 

Education
·         Bachelors preferred 

Discipline
·         Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics
