Job title: VB .Net developer
location: Columbus, Ohio
Duration: 6+months

Rate: $30/hr

• Interact with Technical architect, data architect, development team and management staff on a daily basis.
• Work with team members and independently to modify applications.
• Utilize Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010 team edition to develop and maintain code bases including branching, merging and code builds
• Work with database administrators to make needed table changes in Microsoft SQL server 2005/2008 environment.
• Utilize VB .NET in a variety of .NET frameworks (1.1 through 4.0) to deploy solutions

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:
• 2+ years experience in program development including VB .NET, classic ASP, and Javascript
• Experience with MS SQL server databases including development and maintenance of stored procedures embedded in applications
• Background in formalized process controls for change management.
• Knowledge of AGILE software development methodology.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Good written/verbal skills.
