We have an urgent opening for Test Engineer: Trading Application Testing Experience

 

Location – Austin, TX

 

Duration – 6 months

 

 

Job Description

 

Ø  Trading application testing knowledge.

Ø  The person needs to have only trading application knowledge.

Ø  Mandatory Testing of Trading Application.  

Ø  Develop Test Plan & prepare Test Scenarios

Ø  Prepare and review traceability matrix

Ø  Responsible for test case development & execution (Web / Client - Server Testing)

Ø  Review , modify, enhance, manual test cases

Ø  Selection of regression TCs & Identify reusable TCs

Ø  Highlight individual project risks to lead/PM

Ø  Escalation of Blocking issues to Lead/PM. Daily status report to Lead/PM 

Ø  Hands on experience in test management tools like Quality Centre

 

 

Qualification:

Ø  Proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

Ø  Proficiency in Testing principles and methodologies

Ø  Proficiency in testing leadership.

Ø  Proficiency in supporting projects, project managers and projects teams in an offshore model.

Ø  Good analytical skills.

Ø  Experience in performing end to end testing in Multi-tier architectures.

Ø  Good knowledge and experience using SQL commands
