Key skills required:

 

Ø  Operating System(s) : Sun Solaris 5.10 ,Red Hat Linux , Windows 2005 and 2008.

Ø  Sybase 12.x and Replication Server 12.5, 12.6 and 15.0 Advanced Features Replication, Solaris, Linux, VERITAS-Cluster, Dbartisan. Sybase domain knowledge on :

Ø  RPC Setup, CIS Problem analysis

Ø  Database objects Upgrade

Ø  Syncing of Logins between databases of Different servers

Ø  Checking CPU Utilization

Ø  Rectifying Sort Order Problems

Ø  LDAP Configuration

Ø  MDA tables configuration for performance monitoring.

Ø  Auditing setup, Threshold Procedures.

Ø  Renaming Databases

Ø  Fixing Index Corruptions

Ø  Resolving Temp db full issue Sybase Replication Support:

Ø  Monitoring and Troubleshooting Sybase Replication Server

Ø  Setting up warm-standby Replication, Trouble shooting in warm-standby Replication

Ø  Setting up and Troubleshooting Table Level Replication

Ø  Handling Thread Downs, Stable Queue monitoring

Ø  Disabling and Enabling Replication

Ø  Adding Partitions to Stable Queues.

Ø  Skills on MS SQL SERVER 2005 AND 2008 and ORACLE 11G is desirable and advantageous
