Client is looking for a Java Developer - Columbus, OH. This is a 6 months contract to hire position. The Hourly rate and the Salary range is DOE.
Required Skills
Must have strong Java (JDK 1.4-1.6+, J2EE) skills as well as strong Perl programming experience.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills; strong customer service abilities, with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. Well-developed analytical and problem solving abilities, and have strong attention to detail.
Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and create technical designs in accordance with company and industry standards.
Must also have strong technical skills with: SQL, EDI, as well as strong systems analysis
Must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 2 to 5 years programming or systems analysis experience, or equivalent combination.
Preferred Qualifications
General Development: CVS, Subversion, MS Windows XP-7, Linux, Agile.
Java: Swing, Eclipse, Hibernate, JSF, JPA, JEE, EJB3,Glassfish, JBoss, Maven.
Perl: Perl DBI.
Oracle, PL/SQL.
Experience in an "agile" development environment.
