Position Description:
        Supports the design and development of a wide range of enterprise and Risk Management data initiatives including Data Warehouses, Reference and Market Data Management Systems within a fast-paced Hedge Fund environment.
        Develop production-quality ETL processes using Informatica that capture and deliver data from various sources including RDBMS (SQL Sever/Sybase), flat files, Web Services and 3rd party proprietary formats.
        Set up job automation using an Enterprise Scheduler (Tidal)
        Understands and captures data requirements and inherent business rules across various business systems and builds an ETL process to support the requirements.
        Designs, implements database query and stored procedure development standards.
        Develop strategies to improve Data Quality.
 
Skills:   
        Minimum of 5 years ETL experience (Informatica).
        Extensive experience with developing Data Warehouses/Data Marts and/or Reference Data Management Systems.
        Ability to work with business users and translate requirements into database designs
        Knowledgeable with programming in Transact-SQL (Stored Procedures/Functions).
        Experience with Sybase and MS SQL Server 2000/2005.
        Understanding of Trading, Portfolio Management and Risk Management Systems
        Enterprise Reporting Tool experience (Business Objects)
        OLAP
        Tidal Scheduler (or similar such as Control-M, Active Batch, Autosys)
