Title: C,C++ Software Engineers

Location:  El Segundo/Los Angeles, CA

Duration: 12 Months +

Start Date: Immediate

Position Summary:

Looking for a Software Engineer who has strong computer science fundamentals. Responsibilities include the specification, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of client server software applications utilizing C++, C, Java, and SQL.  The software developer will be responsible for solving intriguing problems with our latest technology, and partner with other team members, customers, and vendors throughout the entire project life cycle.

 

Qualifications:

·           BS in Computer Science or related field. MS in Computer Science or related field is a plus.

·           Five or more years of experience developing software applications with C++, C and Java.

·           Experience developing multi threaded and client server software systems is a plus.

·           Familiarity with SQL, Unix, Perl and shell scripting is a plus. (Unix is highly preferred)

·           Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

·           Excellent written/verbal communication skills.

·           Local area only.

 

Additional Requirements

·           Good analytical skills, detail oriented, quick study, and self-motivated.

·           Able to work independently with effective time management in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

·           Ability to multitask within an environment of rapidly changing priorities.

·           Proactively solve problems and work effectively in a team environment.

·           Experience with analysis and support of production/live systems a plus.

·           Must be willing to work occasional extended/flexible hours.

·           Local LA candidates
