Position: Microsoft Web Application Developer
Location: Jackson, MI
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Rate: Negotiable

Job Description:

• Design and Develop new web applications and support existing web applications on the Microsoft web server platform using Visual Studio 2010 with Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases. 
  
• Applications consist of external Web Sites and business to business Web portals for processing order entry and order status.
• Upgrade Ektron Content Management System and related Web sites to the latest Ektron version.
• Support Microsoft SharePoint 2010 implementation including creation of sites, master page updates, web parts, InfoPath forms, workflows and integration with 3rd party web parts and site templates.
• Work in all areas of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with Agile Development methodology including gathering and documenting requirements, developing cost and schedule estimates, performing technical designs, developing new applications and enhancements, supporting test cycles including developing test cases/scenarios, implementing new applications and enhancements, and supporting applications and enhancements once in production.
  

Skills required:

•  ASP.Net with C#.Net
• Microsoft .Net Framework v3.5 and V4.0
• Visual Studio 2010
• HTML, CSS, DHTML, and JavaScript
• SharePoint Designer
• XML and XSLT
• Web Services and Microsoft Communication Foundation
• Ability to work effectively in team environment
• Work with customers to understand their business requirements and determine appropriate technical solutions that meet the customer's business requirements, budget and schedule.
• Perform project management tasks as needed to ensure enhancements are delivered on time, on-budget and meeting user requirements
• Excellent customer service, analytical, and conceptual skills and must have strong problem solving skills.
• Proactive and self starter
  

Skills Preferred:

• Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and/or SharePoint Foundation
• Ektron Content Management 
• Microsoft SilverLight v4
• Web Page Design and Graphical Design
• Experience integrating with SAP XI
• Work Experinece with Utility is a bonus.
  

Experience Required :

• 3+ years of Microsoft .Net development experience.
• 1+ years of experience working with Web Content Management Systems
  

Education Required:

• Bachelors Degree
