Title: Websphere/ZOS Systems
Location: Livingston, NJ
Duration: 3+ month(s)

This position is responsible for the design, installation, and support of
Websphere on the z/OS Operating System mainframe platform.
• This individual will also design, install, and support Websphere Process
Server (WPS), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and HTTP Web Server on the z/OS
platform.
• Secondary to Websphere, this individual will support z/OS itself,
including all related third party software products.
• This position requires participation in software upgrades, mainframe
infrastructure projects, interfacing with other mainframe disciplines, and
providing general day to day support of the environment. Strong customer
focus and communication skills are also required.
• An ideal candidate might be somebody who changed disciplines from MVS/zOS
(mainframe) to Unix/Open Systems.
• Strong knowledge of Websphere is a must and knowledge of Unix (and Unix
Systems Services on z/OS), Java, XML, and Process Server is a huge plus.
