Client is looking for Biz Talk Administrator - Tallahassee, FL. This is a 3+ months Contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.

 

Description:

Biz Talk Administrator must have proven experience installing, configuring, and managing Biz Talk 2006 and or 2009 and proven experience installing, configuring, and managing SQL server 2005/2008

 

Biz Talk Administrator Responsibilities:

1: Report to the contract manager and the business applications operations manager assigned to the project

2: Mentor/Coach department staff in the installation, configuration, and management of Biz Talk server 2009

3: Install, configure and maintain a medium sized Biz Talk server 2009 environment

4: Install, configure and maintain a SQL server 2008 Cluster for use by Biz Talk 2009

5: Work with architect and business applications operations group to establish Biz Talk application deployment processes that ensure separation of duties and are automated the extent possible

6: Evaluate system performance and tune system as required to ensure a robust highly available production environment

7: Provide troubleshooting and debugging services

8: Ensure proper system monitoring activities are in place as well as business activity monitoring

9: Ensure production backup and restore processes are in place and fully tested and documented

10: Develop and/or modify project and technical documentation as required

11: Offer recommendations of process improvements where applicable

 

Biz Talk Administrator Qualifications:

·         Experience working for a government agency is preferred

·         Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical and user staff

·         Demonstrated experience mentoring/coaching other developers with Microsoft technologies

·         Proven ability to work with developers to establish best practices for the deployment of Biz Talk applications

·         Strong collaborative skills

·         2+ years demonstrated experience installing, configuring and maintaining a Biz Talk 2006 and/or 2009 environment

·         2+ years demonstrated experience installing, configuring and maintaining a SQL Server 2005/2008 environment

·         1+ year demonstrated experience performance tuning a Biz Talk 2006/2009 environment
