Requirement Details:

Job Title                         :          Exchange Administrator

Job Type (Contract)      :           Ongoing

Location                         :           NYC (main location) & Piscataway, NJ

 

The location will be in both NYC (main location) & Piscataway, NJ, so please only send candidates who are comfortable with infrequent travel between the 2 sites.

Rate depending upon experience; please send your most competitive rates.

The requirement and qualification:

•           Deep understanding of Microsoft AD including but not limited to GPO, schema, registry, programming interface with AD.

•           Deep understanding of the mail system including the Microsoft Exchange, standard SMTP, programming or scripting to automate the Monitoring, integration of the SMTP mail flow and MAPI applications.

•           Good understanding of mail architecture, mail backbone, and mail architecture design.

•           Good understanding of administration scripts and language such as VB, VB script.

•           Good understanding of network.

•           Outstanding and logical troubleshooting skill for the 3rd level support.

•           Good understanding of LDAP and be able to programming or scripting for LDAP administration and management.

•           Good understanding of WEB, especially Microsoft IIS.

•           Basic knowledge of the server hardware is a must.  Understanding of the storage such as SAN, NAS etc. is a plus.

•           Good team player.

•           A good IT staff to accomplish tasks or performs research independently.

•           Flexible to work in NY and NJ offices.

 

Extra

•           Experience and knowledge of Quest QMM is definitely a plus.

•           Good understanding of SQL, SQL database, database query. The understanding of any other databases is a plus.

•           The skill and capacity of Mail backbone architecture engineering and designing is a plus. 

•           The skill and capacity of Microsoft AD architecture engineering and designing is a plus.
