Description:
Effort is to convert a number of CORBA application solutions to WEBSPHERE. Some are CORBA Java Batch solutions that will need to migrate to executing in a WEBSPHERE environment. Much of the work will involve creating EJB's that are stateless. The STRUTS Framework (Jakarta) will be the preferred presentation layer framework for systems that are transaction based. Additionally, this position will require a well rounded developer who is capable if reverse engineering existing code to execute in a WEBSPHERE environment. This includes but is not limited to porting business rules, presentation metaphors, creating of test scenarios/plans, creating of test data for sandbox and standalone testing and technical migrations such as employing Log4j and other WEBSPHERE Java best practices.

Required Skill Set:
CORBA - Senior (3-5 years)
Websphere JAVA - Expert (5+ years)
STRUTS Framework - Expert (5+ years)
DB2/Oracle - Expert (5+ years)

Desired Skill Set:
Entera - Intermediate (1-3 years)
UNIX Scripts - Intermediate (1-3 years)
C++ - Intermediate (1-3 years)
