Location:  Bothell, WA or Atlanta, GA

Senior level database administration position, with the following key
responsibilities in a dynamic and high transaction volume environment:
- Install Oracle Software on multiple Platforms; Creating new databases;
Upgrade multiple Oracle databases to Oracle 10g
- Implement Oracle 10g RAC
- Implement High Availability Solutions and Disaster Recovery solutions
- Provide advanced technical expertise to database team in support of
operational and project activities related to Client business systems
- Provide advanced technical and operational support to other departments
and teams in support of Client business objectives;
- Participate in design and application review sessions and assist with
definition of computing standards and recommend policies related to those
standards

Requried Skills
- Two to five years in an HP-UX or AIX environment; Excellent knowledge of
HP-UX and AIX
- Two to five years as a database administrator working with Oracle
- Experience in Oracle 10g and Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g RAC, Oracle Grid
Control; Advanced knowledge in Oracle tuning, including Oracle 10g RAC
specifics; Experience in a large, 24x7 environment
- Experience with large databases, terabyte or larger, desirable
- Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts;
Knowledge of SAN concepts
- Experience with billing systems is a plus; Good written/verbal
communication skills
- A four year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills
Write and maintain documentation describing upgrade and implementation
processes as well as modifications to all systems and databases; Participate
in meetings and conference calls related to project and troubleshooting
activities; Research solutions to various business and technical problems,
evaluate alternatives and be able to present recommendations and
justifications to management.
