For a Financial firm in Pasadena , California

These projects which will require advanced and unique Oracle and Sybase skills set.  I would like to bring in a resource that is well versed on these two database platforms.  This will support these strategic projects moving forward as well as reduce the critical dependency on a single Sybase DBA with which we are currently faced.

Oracle skills:

Sybase skills:
"       Sybase ASE 12.5 on Solaris
"       Sybase migration to Sybase15 / SQL Server / Oracle
"       Sybase replication
"       Database Hardware Performance tuning
"       Hardware
General database skills:
"       Overall understanding of transactional and batch processes
"       Advanced knowledge in relational model and design
"       Database security and network administration
"       Performance tuning, Index design, and sessions / connection pooling
"       Data export and import strategies
