Hi,

 

Client is looking for Adobe Flex Consultant - CT. This is a 12 Month position. The Rate is DOE.

 

- - Work onsite with development team
- Participate in development a Scientific Web Application - Participate in defining and documenting requirements for presentation layer of scientific application
- Participate in team estimation, design meetings, interface with other Engineers in the team and mentor the team in Flex technologies
- Create extensive custom components in MXML and Object Oriented Action Script.
- Interpret Use Cases and requirements and focus on building intuitive, effective, task-content and easy to use UI framework.
- Be involved in all levels of the software development life cycle
- Use your knowledge of the Flex component architecture, skinning paradigm, and interaction model to implement a Flex SDK and web application.

- - 3+Years of Strong Flash and Action Script (AS3) skills.
- Extensive development knowledge and experience developing customer-facing applications from scratch Deep understanding of user interface development with experience building Rich Internet Applications with modern web UI frameworks (e.g. AJAX, Flex) that demonstrate extensibility, maintainability and usability.
- Experience architecting and integrating Flex with data services, Blaze DS to access back-end data.
- Experience integrating Flash/Flex with Java applications.
- Strong Object Oriented Design / Programming and Design Patterns experience
- Experience using testing frameworks such as Flex Unit.
- Strong foundation in visual/interface design, motion graphics and UI design. Understanding of usability issues and user-centered design
- Understanding of Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, Web Services (XML, SOAP, RESTful etc)
- Knowledge interfacing with legacy C libraries from Flex using Alchemy is good to have.
- Good communicator, team player and committed individual contributor
- Samples of previous work demonstrating dynamic and interactive web development experience
- Experience with Scientific applications, spectrometry, preferred, but not required.
- Experience working on an Agile/Scrum team preferred but not required.
