Job Description

 

Job Description/Skills Required:

 

Role

Ø  Production support Analyst Tech Skills

Ø  PL SQL, UNIX, Shell Scripting Database

Ø  Oracle\Sybase\MS SQL\DB2 (any good RDMS) Domain

Ø  Investment Banking Others

Ø  1or 2 years of production support experience, excellent communication, Good analytical skills, Right attitude for better Business user interaction, should be able to work under pressure

 

Responsibility –

 

Ø  Data Analysis and Technical support for the applications during US hrs as business is different from other regions.

Ø  Release of the components to the production system after high level verification

Ø  Business Continuity Management for the different systems to avoid down time of the systems

Ø  Monitor & manage health of the systems by responding to alerts and escalation from Level1

Ø  Making sure support for Start of day and fixing the breaks before trading hrs and maintaining SLA

Ø  Analyzing all the Job failure, Unix script issues for data quality check

Ø  Support to the Operation's team and resolving the front end technical\data issues

Ø  Supporting the issues with Vendor feed and data flow from vendors to the trading applications

Ø  Managing capacity management for the applications, Inflow & Out flow of data

Ø  Client interaction and resolving business queries Other information Most of the applications are running on below mentioned technologies

 

– if candidate has exposure to few of these it will be added adv but not mandatory Hardware : Solaries Software : Java / J2EE, WebSphere application server, Informatica, Oracle, Sybase, Unix , Autosys Tools : Informatics, Toad, Autosys, Clarion (Bank Specific), NetCool, DBArtisan
