Title: Network Engineer
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: long term.
The candidate will need the following:
· Voice and IP Telephony
· Provide fourth level engineering/technical support to Verizon Business
· Managed Network Solutions NOC for problem resolution Network Engineering
· provides continual planning and design of the Voice and/or IP Telephony
· infrastructure to optimize the WAN, LAN and IP Telephony components of the network including
o Transport (Verizon or Third Party) components o Equipment WAN, LAN, IP-PBX
servers o Integration with or migration from existing customer equipment
(PBX) o Site analysis geography and architecture o IP communications feature
set and specific customer needs (calling preferences and plans, voicemail
services, unified messaging integration, etc.) o Examination of IP-PBX
calling plans and utilization o LAN design and upgrade requirements o UPS
and Power over Ethernet (PoE) considerations o Scalability, logical
addressing, redundancy and capacity (logical and physical)
