Job title: Senior Informatica Developer
Duration: Long Term

Location: Minnesota, MN

Requirement:

Needs someone who has installed Informatica 9 on Linux/Unix for this upgrade project. along with below.

Expertise in the area of Informatica, Informatica upgrades, Informatica best practices and Linux operating system.  

The following expectations will be met at the completion of this engagement:

· Migration from Windows to Linux operating environment

· Upgraded PowerCenter and PowerExchange to 9x.

· Migration of repository from SQL Server to Oracle database.

· Advise re best practices for version control, migration through development environments, error handling and recovery strategies.

· Follow existing methodology and processes.

· Document all work.

· Assist team where needed.

· Informatica batch scripts will be rewritten to accommodate platform change from Windows to Non-Windows, including converting scripts to PL/SQL where feasible.


Expert level knowledge of and hands on experience with the following:

· Informatica (PowerCenter 8x or higher) expert developer in Oracle solutions

· Informatica (PowerCenter 8x or higher) administrator to include experience completing successful upgrades.

· Oracle database experience as related to Informatica calls

· Informatica PowerExchange support

· PL/SQL development expertise

· Relative performance tuning experience.

· Strong Linux and Windows scripting experience.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Autosys Scheduling

· SQL Server Integration Services development and support

· SQL Server Jobs development and support
