Client is looking for Visual Basic Expert in San Mateo, CA. Locals only. Face to face interview required.
Rate 50-55/hr. This is a long term position.
Consultant must have very good knowledge of (C#) programming (Strongly desired), databases and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-tier and component based application.
Required Skills:
4-7 years designing, building, and maintaining functionality for enterprise desktop applications (Must be able to demonstrate significant contributions to past projects)
Expert Microsoft .Net coding and debugging skills
Expert Visual Basic coding and debugging skills
Desktop application experience in .NET is a must.
Expert in SQL queries, stored procedures, database design, and data modeling
Proficiency with Web technologies such as JSP, JavaScript, CSS and Ajax
Experience with Web technologies and JAVA and familiarity with Linux OS a plus.
Good programming practices with solid object-oriented development experience
Experience handling large datasets in all tiers of application architecture, including database, business layer and user interfaces
Experience with automated build and test tools and methods for general UI technologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with Retail / Consumer Packaged Goods industry and/or technology is a plus
Strong analytical and problem solving skills (Must be able to analyze and suggest improvements to existing code and designs)
