We are looking for Sr. C/C++ Embedded Engineer for one of my Client
Title: Sr. C/C++ Embedded Engineer
Location: Reno, Nevada.
Duration: 6 plus months
Start Date: Immediate
THE MOST important part of what we are looking for is the embedded experience with printers.
immediate need in area of embedded firmware development. The devices communicate to systems applications hence we are looking for embedded engineers that have experience interfacing to systems.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Five or more years of experience in software/embedded system development and on personal computer software and hardware/firmware integration tasks
- Linux / Unix knowledge and experience
- C and C++ expertise
- Experience with either software engineering/embedded software/computer/electrical engineer experience with software exposure
- Experience interfacing with printers and printer timing
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Gaming industry experience is preferred
- Object-Oriented programming, especially in C++ or C# or Objective C
- A variety of 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit microprocessor experience, especially 8051 and/or ARM9
- Minimum of 5 years experience with software methodologies
- Good working knowledge and understanding of software modeling in real-time response environments
- Ability to travel up to 10%-25%
Development, improvement, and analysis of serial communications protocols
SKILLS DESIRED:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to share expertise and train subordinates
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Development, improvement, and analysis of serial communications protocols
- Experience with various operating systems
- Knowledge of software development life cycle
