Job Title : QA Tester
Location : Baltimore MD
Duration : 6 Month Contract
Rate : $35/hr on C2C.
 
Must-haves :
Visual Studio
Strong analytical skills, ability to develop new ideas and think outside of the box.
Experience testing Client Server Applications
5+ years of hands on SW Testing experience
full knowledge of the SDLC (software development life cycle), most importantly with software testing and quality assurance processes and methodologies
hands on experience with general testing tools and technologies such as Defect Tracking Tools - preferably Quality Center, Version Control and exposure to Basic SQL/DML
Solid organization skills, well versed in producing a full range of software test documentation, including test plans and matrices, schedules, test reports and release notes
Working knowledge of PVCS

Day-to-Day
Candidate will execute test cases, test passes, test harnesses and test plans. Candidate must understand products' funtionalities, record defects and give possible workarounds and other helpful information when needed. Will report progress on QC activities to management and interpret simple and complex requirements. Candidate will report and monitor defects on a team of 6-20 testers.
