{Ajax-DOT-NET-FAQ} Need - WebSphere Administrator at IL for 6+Months contract position

Job title: WebSphere Administrator –

Duration: 6 month contract,

Location: ILLINOIS

- WAS configuration/verification/troubleshooting for application server 
- Exposure of WAS 6.1 concepts like node federation, profiles, SOAP security 
- Knowledge of other WebSphere related task like 
-- Monitoring system performance 
-- Ensuring server security 
-- Reading of various WAS logs to analyse issue 
-- Perform incident resolution, Problem Determination and Root Cause Analysis 
- knowledge on IBM MQ and IBM Db2 9.1 client 
- Experience on high level architecture and production support 

- Familiarity with AIX/Solaris/Linux OS to operate WAS, order of preference would be Linux, than AIX than Solaris. 

- knowledge of J2EE concepts, 

Having knowledge on following skills would be an added advantage 

- Unix Shell Scripting 
- JACL/Jython Scripting 
- Source code management tool like MKS 
- Familiarity with WAS 7.0 concepts 

Primary Skills - WebSphere 6.1 Administration 

Pluses- WebSphere 7.0, UNIX, JACL/Jython Scripting
