Job Title: Sr. Oracle Developer
Location: Nashville, TN
Duration: 6+ month contract

The Senior Oracle (PL/SQL) Developer will be responsible for database architecture, data modeling, design and development in Oracle technologies. The position is the Billing and AR Systems team. Expected to guide and mentor other database developers.

Key responsibilities:
Application architecture and design
Data modeling
Development of stored procedures, Triggers, PL/SQL programs
Work on application development projects as well as enhancements and maintenance of existing applications.
Expert in writing SQL statements
Expert experience with Oracle Collections
Expert with SQL Loader
Expert with performance tuning

Skills/Experience required:

10+ years of Oracle database design and development experience
Experience in designing and developing high volume transaction based systems
Highly skilled in database design and modeling
Highly skilled in SQL, PL/SQL development, stored procedures and triggers
Experience using bulk processing, ETL operations, REF cursors, collections, DBMS packages
Highly skilled in performance tuning: analyzing query plans and query tuning, partitioning, and optimizer hints
Experience with SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, Data Pump, Exp/Imp, TKPROF, Oracle scheduler, Advanced Queues, Object management
Proficient in PL/SQL Developer, Toad, Erwin, Version Control tools
