Job Description – System Integrator/Testing Engineers

 

 

 

Skills Required

 

 Mandatory

·         8+ years of experience

·         Cross Module Testing / System Integration & deployment

·         Experience with the open source community

·         Experience in Test Driven Development – Continuous integration, building, deploying modules.

·         Experience in the entire software development life cycle including design, development, and maintenance of a commercial product.

·         Experience with Java/J2EE, JavaScript and object oriented frameworks

·         Experience working with Maven, Hudson

·         Experience with software application development including user interface design, multi-threading, asynchronous interfaces and debugging.

·         Working knowledge of XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, and related technologies.

·         Knowledge of the following is desirable: Linux IBM WPS, scripting, Ext JS, Spring, Ant, Eclipse IDE and Resin.

·         Familiarity with Postgres, Oracle, MySQL or other RDBMS systems.

·         Has experience in High Available/ High Performance systems

Preferable

• Experience in networking application development (TCP/IP, Sockets, debugging tools, etc )

- Experience working in telecom (broadband) or entertainment marketing (TV/Cable)

- Proven creative problem solver with ability to work in a hyper-changing environment

- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills

- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization

 

Project Details:

 

The primary goal of this position is to set up an internal staging lab for MMI at their NJ facility to pre stage all 15 modules of VDMS before it is deployed at Verizon.

 

Job Roles / Responsibilities*:   

 

Lead the System Integration efforts for the whole VDMS system

·         Spec. out the LAB infrastructure necessary to achieve this

·         Identify resources necessary to perform pre-stage testing

·         Build the lab by soliciting the right resources (oracle, Websphere, etc.)

·         Perform Hands on Integration and testing to gauge the functionality of VDMS

·         Interface with the development team to resolve issues

·         Interface with the Overall Systems integration team to resolve issues

·         Some debugging on site will be required
