Senior Programmer/Module lead, This position develops formal system specifications, codes programs, defines and performs unit and system testing, prepares systems documentation and implements new or revised systems.
Ø Utilizes extensive technical knowledge to partner with the Business Systems Analysts to analyze business problems to design solutions for project requirements Executes regression testing and test plans
Ø Executes systems integration testing
Ø Systems/Project R&D work with Technical Architects
Ø Conducts Code Reviews and ensures coding standards are followed
Ø Ensures appropriate turnover from projects to production support
Position Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT
• Five to seven years of programming experience
• Programming experience, exposure and proficiency in the following: Design factors, hardware and software requirements, systems facilities, and execution protocols Strong programming skills in C, C++ UNIX/Linux.
• Database skills Postgres,Mysql or Oracle.
• Unix Shell Scripting
• Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Retail Experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
• Strong drive for results and ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
• Proven innovation skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated commitment to quality and project timing
• Experience in obtaining and understanding business requirements
• Experience to Lead a team
• Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities
