I am urgently looking for UI Architect / Sr. Architect - Sunnyvale, CA.
Duration: - 6 Months
Rate : $65-68/hr (all Inclusive)
Ideal candidate needs to have experience in AJAX, Javascript and XML Databases.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define system architecture to achieve scalability and reliability goals
- Research new technologies for the editorial and business systems
- Work with both business partners and project leads to gather, analyze business requirements and translate them into technical tasks
- Research and evaluate front-end application frameworks
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related; and advanced degree is desirable
· 5 + years of relevant industry experience
· An accomplished web architect with a track record of devising, presenting and implementing innovative user experience solutions.
· 5+ years Java based projects using Java, JSP and related technologies (Tomcat or similar applications server) with an Oracle RDBMS back end
· 5+ years developing and deploying applications on Linux/Unix systems
· Hands on experience with dynamic front end technologies HTML5, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, JSON, JSP, Java Servlets, JSTL, Swing, Spring Framework, jQuery
· Hands on experience with using dynamic languages – Perl, PHP, Python in web-based applications.
· Advanced understanding of object-oriented programming languages
· Thorough understanding of application development and methodologies
· Building flexible database driven application.
· Performance tuning for web - based applications
· Building highly interactive UI
· Application and web servers such as Tomcat and NetKernel
· Web technologies, protocols, and tools
· Rich Internet Applications (RIA) frameworks
