Rate:- $55/per hr Max

Level of experience:- 8 to 10 yrs

 

Highlighted skillets are mandatory.

 

Job Description:

 

Maintain and enhance the InstallShield based QuickWeb to add additional functionality such as installing and controlling Windows drivers and services using InstallShield.

Maintain and enhance Windows GUI applications for QuickWeb including Windows GUI applications and Windows services using Visual C++ or C#.

Maintain and enhance the Windows device drivers needed for QuickWeb operation.

Create functional specification and design documentation for these components.

Work with QA and Program Management to fix issues in the product.

 

Position Requirement

·         5+ years of software development experience in Windows.

·         Proven expertise in developing Windows GUI applications and services using Microsoft Visual C++, C# etc.

·         In-depth understanding of Windows DDK, the device driver model and experience with developing device drivers on Windows

·         Experience writing software that works across multiple versions of windows

·         Ability to take existing software and understand it well enough to extend or modify it

·         Experience with InstallShield handling multiple versions of a product

·         Experience with using external DLLs with InstallShield

·         Experience with internationalization both in Windows apps and InstallShield

·         Experience in developing batch scripts to automate the build process.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Must be able to write and execute test plans

·         Ability to analyze, isolate, describe and prioritize defects in a complex software/hardware environment

·         Organized, thorough, and detail oriented

·         Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

·         Bachelor’s degree.  BSCS or equivalent
