Position: Systems Analyst

Location: Cleveland, OH

Duration: 5 years + (Contract)

Rate: Open

 

Required Skills:

• Unix   
• PL/SQL   
• Oracle 8/9   
• Data Model

Job Responsibilities:

• Under general supervision, this fully competent role formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. 
• Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. 
• Guides and advises less experienced Systems Analysts. 
• Works with an individual business unit in a multi-platform environment on multiple project assignments. 
• Requires guidance in complex problem areas, errors may cause minor delay, expense and disruption.

Additional Responsibilities:

• This is a key technical support role on the team, dealing with multiple applications and system integration with respect to the Logica ARM suite of products.
• The qualified candidate should be comfortable working within the confines of packaged product architecture while being able to think outside the box, and should also be comfortable in a multi-tasking environment.
• SA for the ARM team.
• Analysis and design of mobile application and interfaces. Assist in the development, implementation and support of ARM suite of products (Work Scheduler Plus, CTS, FMDR, Mobile 1.1.2, Web Portal, WMIS, IMF). Gap analysis, requirements gathering, technical writing, integration techniques

Qualifications:

• Experience in programming or systems analysis desired.
• 3-5 years of senior systems analyst experience in a client server/web environment Experience with Logica's ARM and WMIS products preferred 2-3 years of site acceptance testing, or systems/regression/stress testing equivalent.
• College graduate preferred (systems analysis, math, CIS, engineering, etc.) Solid technical foundation in Oracle database technologies and PL/SQL; entity modeling.

Other experience desired:

• estimating, implementation planning, presentations, process modeling, Program Specs, Prototyping, Test Plans, Gap Analysis, XML    

Education:

• Bachelors preferred

Discipline:

• Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics
