Job Title :  Java Devloper 
Location : NYC , NY
Duration : 6 Month Contract

 

 

Requried Skills :

4 years hands-on J2EE developer with the following required skills:
Advanced knowledge of OO design patterns
J2EE, STRUTS, Hibernate
[PL-]SQL
CVS, Ant, Maven
UML
SweetDev a plus
Education: BS or equivalent in Computer Science or related majorTasks include
Full Life Cycle development (Iterative/Waterfall), responsible for successful product deployment. Interacting with clients to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.
Revise or direct revision of existing products to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
Writes documentation of program development and subsequent revisions.
Assist computer operators, system analysts, or end-users to resolve problems in running programs.
Working independently as well as in team oriented environments.

Must have

Technical skills:
Strong in Object-Oriented Methodology & design: UML, writing use case, sequence diagram, class diagram.
At least 4 years hands-on on J2EE Development experience with Websphere application server (v5.0 and up), STRUTS, Hibernate.
Experience with Websphere integrated development environment, like WSAD and RAD.
Relational database.
Good level in SQL (Oracle 9i PL-SQL).
Knowledge of UNIX AIX.
Communication skills:
Very good verbal and writing communication skills (English and French), to be able to communicate with users, management, peers, write documentation.
Must be comfortable working in a team, as well as independently.
Functional: Human Resources and Finance concepts.
