Job Description/Skills Required:

Job Title: Storage Administrator-L3 Primary Skills:
Storage & Backup administration (SAN,NAS and SAN) & Tape EMC Certification must
Secondary skills: HP Servers Experience Level: 6-8 Years Profile:
 EMC Storage Administrator
 Experienced in Production Server Environment.
 Proficient in SSH based Remote Console Operations
 Experience in using EMC native administrative tools
 Experience in Enterprise/Mid range EMC Storage ( Symetrix, clarion, Celerra) SAN, NAS
 Should have good Documentation skills
 Experienced in EMC Directors and Switches
 Expertise in Volumes/LUNs creation, storage space management,
 Configuration ,monitoring & analyzing event, alert logs and appropriate actions taking, strong trouble shooting skills in storage environment and solving problems in a very short time,
 Pro-active measures and preventive measure for storage problems/errors.
 Should have experience in managing Storage attached to open systems ( Hp-Unix, Windows, etc)
 Strong depth knowledge of analysis for storage backend problems. Client Environment:
 600TB of storage
 EMC Symetrix, Clarion,
 OS: HP Servers- HP unix 11.x, Red Hat Linux & Windows
 Tools:
 SRDF & Recover Point – replication
 Hp Data Protector
 EMC Symcli
 EMC Control center
 EMC Navisphere
 HP Service Manager ticketing tool Skills:
a. Good hands on experience on EMC SAN,NAS and DAS Storage on EMC and HP,.
b. Good Communication skills
Certifications: EMC storage foundation
