This is for my direct client opening for a Senior Software Engineer – Watertown, CT. This is a 6 months position. The Hourly rate is DOE.

 

Description:

This Software Engineer must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in a software development environment. Design and development of MS Windows based software to monitor and collect data from remote process control instrumentation. Software designed to allow communication over various Serial, IP, and/or Wireless communication lines.

 

Requirements:

- Hands-on experience developing in a Microsoft Widows environment
- Software Design Experience, Proficiency in OOP/D methods
- Working knowledge of C++, C#, VB, MFC, ATL, COM/DCOM, ODBC

- Working knowledge of .NET Framework Development

- Working knowledge of IP, UDP, TCP Protocols

- Experience with HMI, UI and Ease of Use Designs a plus

- Experience with OPC a plus

- Willingness to provide production support and maintenance activities

 

Requires a B.S. in Computer Science, or a related area, and at least 5 years of experience in developing software for Microsoft Windows.

            For this client be sure all the skills should be reflect in your projects as per skill matrix, if you are mentioning in the skill matrix example: in Hadoop,  If you have 4 yrs experience, it should be reflect in your project also. They are too stick about resume. We just got a bad experience with client.
