Job Requirement: Novell Consultant

8 months contract

53/hr 1099

Phone and then face to face may be required.

 

 

Scoop on job: - enterprise environment required (500+ servers), Active Directory, Exchange, and Novell are all REQUIRED.

• Also use Ironport, Blackberry, HCP/VMS, and Sharepoint. Suntrust has 6000 servers! Doing a Netware elimination, very lengthy project.
• Moving to windows servers.
• They still have 30-40 lingering file servers (some remote) and the goal is to centralize and migrate all to Windows, sometimes moving to NAS- every migration is different so they need someone who can look at each migration and decide what is going to be the best way to do it.
• This is replacing someone who did not work out.
• They DO NOT have Groupwise or Directory Services.
• Netware File version 6.5 desired, but will accept experience as low as 5.1 version.
