Job Title : Business Analyst
Location : Des Moines , IA
Duration : 3- 6 Month Contract
Responsibilities:
Bachelor's Degree
Major or course of study:
MIS, CIS, Liberal Arts, Business, Economics, Marketing, or Health Care designation study
directed towards health care or insurance or equivalent experience.
4-6 years experience in technical business analysis in the health care industry.
Knowledge of programming and software development processes.
Experience with system development life cycle methodologies, including testing
coordination.
Effective written and oral communication skills, including issue resolution,
negotiation and conflict management.
Knowledge of project methodologies.
Knowledge and understanding of business dynamics.
Ability to see a task through to completion independently or as a team member.
Analytical problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to produce results.
Exceptional internal and external service
Knowledge of healthcare
.net applications
DCM (commissions) would be beneficial for one position
Good communication skills
Good analytical skills
Good interpersonal skills
Overview:
Leads definition, analysis, testing and documentation of technology solutions for multiple applications
and systems across areas of technology in support of business. Works directly with project
leads, process teams, business leaders and project teams to ensure technology solutions align with
business objectives and support business processes.
