TEST ANALYST

 

BILL RATE NOT TO EXCEED:  $33/hr per hour

 

Must have ANSI 5010 (CLAIMS) EXPERIENCE

 

 

 

BASIC FUNCTION:

 

This position is responsible for evaluating requirements for testing new or modified products and documentation prior to production release; designing, developing, creating, and executing test plans and cases based on software requirements and technical understanding of product architecture; executing various system, performance, integration, and ad-hoc tests according to approved test plans and testing schedule; troubleshooting, in conjunction with end users and development teams, on issues of reproducing, investigating and debugging software; generating defect reports for issues found during testing, and providing accurate testing status to project stakeholders; focusing on project quality issues, but also makes contributions beyond immediate assignments; possessing broad overall knowledge of business applications; working independently; managing multiple testing projects concurrently.

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

·         Evaluate and test new or modified software products and validate documentation prior to release.

 

·         Prepare, design, and execute test plans and cases (of moderate to high complexity) based on customer and software requirements and technical understanding of product architecture to attain quality software both economically and efficiently, including both new and existing feature regression tests.

 

·         Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements.

 

·         Verify accuracy of test results and documents results.

 

·         Document defects in defect tracking system.

 

·         Perform re-tests to verify resolution of defects.

 

·         Reproduce, investigate, and debug software issues.

 

·         Develop and maintain project test deliverables in adherence to XXXXX-defined methodology.

 

·         Communicate updates to project team, project leads, supervisors, and managers as required.

 

·         Create and/or contribute to the development of System Test and Overall Test and Review plans.

 

·         Contribute to and/or review all project deliverables.

 

·         Perform and participate in peer, informal, and formal reviews of testing artifacts, requirements, specifications, and other project artifacts, as requested.

 

·         Interface with project stakeholders to ensure project quality and customer satisfaction.

 

·         Leverage existing knowledge of business application architecture in project work.

 

·         Identify and document plans for identifying the project's testing activities and approach.

 

·         Create, maintain, and execute automated scripts of moderate complexity.

 

·         Participate in design reviews and other phases of development lifecycle to gather information necessary to create clear, concise, and reusable test cases.

 

·         Provide work estimates, in terms of time, and resources.

 

·         Manage test activities, involving multiple team members, for projects of moderate to high complexity.

 

·         Participate in discussions and initiatives in process improvement for the group.

 

·         Requirements and project artifacts are completed in accordance with SDM methodologies.

 

·         Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.

 

·         Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.

 

·         Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

*                3 years of testing experience

 

*                Clear and concise verbal, written and interpersonal skills including the ability to work in teams. 

 

*                Analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with initiative and accountability. 

 

*                Knowledge of testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle.

 

*                Experience with automated testing tools.
