Possess high level knowledge of the UNIX OS internals. Must demonstrate proficiency at the UNIX command line involving a variety of utilities. Must be recognized as an effective Shell Programmer. Proficient in UNIX security on associates primary platform. Requires high proficiency in two or more lines of the following UNIX areas. Operating Systems: (AIX, HPUX, Solaris, Linux, Tandem NonStop, OpenVMS). Tuning: (System/Network/Database/Application). Backups: (Netbackup, Omniback, Custom). High Availability: (HACMP, VCS, Sun Cluster Server, Service Guard, Oracle/RAC). SAN: (EMC, Clarion). Databases: (Oracle, DB2, Sybase, MySQL). Networking: (DNS, NIS, NFS, Cisco, BigIP). Programming: (C/C++, Perl/CGI, HTML, Java/J2EE, UML). Monitoring: (BMC, Tivoli, CA, Automation). Proficiency in supporting system/middleware software on various OS/hardware platforms. Experience in developing and maintaining effective relationships with customers / vendors

 

TSM Administrator TSM System Backups, TSM Infrastructure Maintenance, Introduction of New Technologies to improve exisiting infrastructure TSM Reporting and problem resolution
