Pay Rate: $30/hr c-c

Experience Level: 5 years

Job Description:

Our Client is looking Software Packaging Engineer(s) to work onsite at their Paulsboro, NJ facility. The candidate must have good working knowledge of Wise Package Studio and Microsoft App-V sequencing.

 

Qualified applicants for the role of App-V Sequencer will have the following technical and administrative skills:

·        Deep experience with application installation and desktop configuration

·        Experience with understanding and documenting application requirements and dependencies

·        Experience with Microsoft Application Virtualization 4.5 or later

·        Experience packaging applications using the Microsoft App-V Sequencer v4.5 or later

·        Experience navigating the registry, Windows file systems, networks

·        Active Directory Experience

·        Distributed environment and enterprise-grade applications

·        Familiarity with working in virtual environments such as VirtualPC, Hyper-V, VMWare, etc.

·        Experience editing and manipulating XML files

·        The most qualified applicants will have experience with

o       VBScript, Windows Batch and PowerShell

o       MSI format and manipulation, MSI logging

o       System Center Configuration Manager

• Ability to work in a team environment and to take direction

·        Ability to follow a strict workflow process for QA and User Acceptance testing

·        Ability to document your work

·        Experience with SharePoint and web-based issue tracking tools
