{Ajax-DOT-NET-FAQ} (Job) SAP BI/BW Analyst - Los Angeles, CA

This is my direct client opening for a 3-month contract-to-hire for an SAP BI/BW Analyst located in Los Angeles, CA. my client prefers local candidates. Non-local candidates are eligible. Also, my client is entertaining only US Citizens, Green Card Holders, and EAD Holders.

Position Summary

This position will be responsible for (1) designing BI solutions and reports based on the requirements of users throughout all phases of the project life cycle; (2) providing user support of BI; (3) Maintaining Data integrity across multiple clients and environments; and (4) create user documentation and perform user training.

Responsibilities:

·      Design, create, and audit BI reports and cubes based on business and technical user requirements
·      Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple environments
·      Participate in Best Practice implementation
·      Perform user training and create BI Documentation based on business group
·      Manage all BI batch process
·      Perform data tuning to maintain performance
·       Define and Execute unit test , integration test and regression test scripts to validate key end-to-end business scenarios
·       Troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues/bugs identified during implementation, testing, and post-Go Live
·       Work elegantly and collaboratively with cross-functional and technical teams with minimal supervision

Requirements:

·      Undergraduate Degree, preferably in Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
·      3 years experience with SAP BI/BW. Must include a minimum of 1 year experience with BI/BW 7.0
·      Experience with SAP ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading), as well as creating and maintaining InfoObjects, Infocubes, ODS, MultiProviders, Infosources, Master Data, DTPs, APD, and Datasources
·      Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with at least MM modules in SAP.
·      Hands on experience with a SAP BI go live, including work with process chains.
·      Considerable experience with cube development, report writing
·      Demonstrate experience with data warehousing principles and best practices.
·      Demonstrate ability to assess and advice on quality of data model solution.
·      Experience performing data modeling and summarizing detailed requirements analysis for BW development projects
·      Ability to work in a team environment - sharing ideas and working collaboratively
·      Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
·      BW object development skills (DSO, InfoCube, OpenHub, Transformation, etc)
·      Experience with dashboard development
·      Must have great organizational, analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate complex BW technical and functional problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
·      Experience in writing complex code, User Exit Functions, ABAP enhancements
·      Experience in extracting from SAP R/3 and data from flat files.
