Description:
Serve as senior developer in the design, configuration, and implementation of JIRA for client's Global Government Solutions Group (GGSG).
Assist in developing and implementing a cohesive and scalable approach to using as few instances of JIRA as possible to support multiple projects with similar
security requirements. Work closely with the project analyst to analyze functional and technical requirements. Prepare documentation on design testing plans, test
results, and support procedures. Design of database schema and flows as needed. Ability to participate in project*s technical architecture, design, and
implementation using Oracle database solutions on UNIX platforms. Candidate will work under the guidance of GGSG Architects. Skill Set and
Required:∙
Experience with configuring and installing JIRA∙ Object oriented programming using Java, HTML, JavaScript and CSS∙ Programming with J2EE,
JDBC, JSP, Servlet, XML, Spring, Tiles∙ Design and development of SQL, PLSQL stored packages, and DBMS jobs in Oracle 10g / 11g∙ Ability to solve
complex, cross-functional issues∙ Excellent analytical skills for solving technical problems∙ Excellent written and verbal communication skills∙
Requires minimal direction toward daily goals and objectives∙ Experience using source code control (preferably CVS)∙ Operating Systems *
UNIX, Windows Desired:∙ Knowledge of Oracle tools and applications such as TOAD∙ Logical and physical data modeling (preferably using Oracle
