Opening for an T-SQL Database Programmer with VB.NET located in Houston, TX. This is a 12 month contract and the rate depends on experience. My client will interview ASAP.

 

I just received a new long-term contract opportunity in Houston, TX and the description, rate, and duration is listed below.  An in-person interview is required for this role.  This is a T-SQL Database Programmer with VB.NET.

 

Duration of the project: one year           Must be local candidates. Rate: $50/-hr C2C

 

Position Overview

 

Houston based energy company needs multiple VB.NET contract resources for a long-term project to design, program, and implement enhancements to an enterprise contracts and billing management system. 

 

A majority of the system's business rules and processes are developed using database stored procedures, queries, views, triggers, etc.  Approximately 60+ % of the programming for this position will be T-SQL.  The remainder will involve developing the user interface using VB.NET.

 

Skills and Experience

·         4+ years SQL Server and T-SQL programming experience

·         2+ years VB.NET programming experience

·         Demonstrated experience with SQL Server database design concepts

·         Preferred (but not required) experience Crystal Reports

·         Preferred experience with systems that support contracts management, billing, and/or accounting

·         Preferred experience with the midstream/pipeline industry
