Position: DB2 UDB DBA Consultant
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Rate: Negotiable
Experience Level : 4-8 Years

Job Description:
4 to 8 years of solid experience on DB2 UDB in Unix (AIX/Solaris/HP-UX) /
Linux environment
Good knowledge of DB2 Database in V9/V9.5/V9.7 day to day admin on Unix /
Linux environment.
Solid Knowledge in DB2 Performance & Tuning.
Good Knowledge in Backup and Recovery including TSM
Good knowledge on HADR implementation.
Good exposure on Build, Deployment, Design, Version and Fix pack upgrades of
DB2 UDB databases on V9 and upwards
Hands-on knowledge on SQL and query optimization
Shell /Perl Scripting knowledge is desirable
ITIL framework knowledge is desirable
Good communication and interpersonal skills
To be flexible and open to work in 24x7 shifts including night shifts
