We have an opening for a Sr. ETL Tester for a 6+ months contract opportunity in Warren, NJ.

 

Position: Sr. ETL Tester

Duration: 6+ months contract

Location: Warren, NJ

Rate: Open

Below is the JD that we will like to have, highlighted ones are ‘must have’ (SSE / ML – Tester):

* Data Quality/ETL testing efforts in accordance to a common test approach for ETL and data integration engagements.

* Design and implement test strategies and plans in compliance with the established test approach

* Deliver testing assignments within the established commitments, ensuring quality, performance and conformance with established specifications

* Package work and transition to an offshore team

* Coordinate the workload of offshore resources to ensure on-time delivery

* Utilize and coordinate Data Integration Development resources outside of QA for the successful execution of data integration testing efforts and defect resolution

* Analyze business requirements and incident reports for testability

* Develop Quality Assurance test plans that clearly map to and account for defined business and data requirements

* Plan, coordinate and schedule test coverage to provide high value during the product release process

* Perform testing using Ab Initio, Unix and SQL tools

* Establish and execute test strategies and plans in accordance with a common testing approach

* Perform all types of testing including functional testing (black box), back-end database testing (white box), data integration testing and system testing

* Report regular testing status to project teams

 

Qualifications:

* Excellent communication skills a must

* 5-8 years experience in distinct ETL Development and Quality Assurance Testing

* Experience using Ab Initio, Unix and NZSQL.

* Data testing experience in a complex, Data warehousing system

* Self-motivated and able to deliver to schedules, as well as work with and incorporate input from other areas

* Experience coordinating work efforts of offshore testing resources

* Experience developing flexible software Quality Assurance solutions according to industry best practices

* Strong attention to detail
