Job Title : SOA Integration Lead
Location : Roanoke, Virginia
Duration : 6 month Contract

They have an opening for a SOA Integration Lead to be based in their Roanoke, Virginia office for a 6 month project with likely extensions.

Scope
My client is looking for a consultant that can come in and assist on Project Pipe Line. The consultant will be assisting in the integration between legacy systems which includes RPG, PLSQL, Java, DataStage and new Warehouse Management System package (Red Prairie)

 
Solution/Integration Lead:
The SOA candidate will be primarily hands on.  Architecture is already set.
Needs minimum of 10 years experience in SOA integration
Must have good MQ Broker experience and strong SOA experience
Needs to be able to understand/guide development for integration including ETL, SOA, Java, AS400 and PLSQL
Needs high proficiency and hands on experience with messaging and package integration
Needs ability to understand high level integration, drill down to details of interface components and triage integration defects
Knowledge and high level proficiency with MQ Broker and/or Java is a plus

 
The client has in place at the moment:
Federated SOA architecture using the following:
WebSphere MQ as transport mechanism
WebSphere MQ Broker 7.0 to move messages between platforms
Clustered JBOSS 5.5 business services applications
Sterling Integrator 5 for transporting externally
Also XML, ESQL and Java.
