SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
The first phase of the Office365 project involves planning, designing, and migrating the existing Novell eDirectory to Microsoft's Active Directory. The second phase involves replacing Groupwise (server and client) with Microsoft's hosted Exchange service as well as migrating users to Outlook (client and Web versions) and updating the Office suite versions from 2007 to 2010. This update will be pushed out to all Agency users and the project includes planning, data migration, deployment/rollout, and documentation.

DAILY DUTIES
The Business Analyst - Consultant will be responsible for the planning, design, monitoring, reporting, and documentation involved in implementing Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Office365 to replace the current Novell and Groupwise environments. Duties include:
Performing discovery activities related to the current environment.
Developing a new directory design
Reporting project status
Supporting DHHS staff in iterative migrations
Developing documentation
Other duties as assigned

Excellent documentation skills
Ability to effectively work and communicate, in both oral and written, with all levels of the Department
Appropriate Microsoft Certification, preferred
