Hi,

 

We have immediate 2 years contract requirement for Systems Developer/Analyst I Java EE (Enterprise Edition) for Princeton, NJ. Any work authorization will work for the same. Locals will be first preference.    

 

Position: Systems Developer/Analyst I Java EE (Enterprise Edition)

Duration: 2 years

Location:  Princeton, NJ

Start Date:  Immediate

Rate: DOE

 

Specific responsibilities include the following:
* Participates in the planning of both the technical and functional sides of CAD projects.
* Creates, modifies and supports applications to meet customer requirements using technology standards adopted and endorsed by CAD.
* Participates as a contributing member in the technical standards setting process.
* Works closely with other OIT staff to research, evaluate, and recommend solutions to various wide-ranging information technology issues.
* Works on special projects as assigned by the manager of CAD.    

 

Essential Qualifications

* 1-3 years experience as a developer/analyst.
* Experience in the deployment, upgrade, enhancement, and support of small-scale web applications.
* Demonstrated knowledge in the following technical areas: Java EE, Java, EJB, JSP, Servlet, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, XML.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Java EE certified application servers such as WebLogic and/or GlassFish.
* Familiarity with RDBMS technology (Oracle preferred), including the ability to read/write SQL.
* Very strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written) skills, and the ability to work effectively in teams. It is a University so communication is  key .
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* The ability to work with business analysts in specification development.
* The ability to multi-task between and among projects and applications.
* The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse user base having varied levels of technical proficiencies.
* When provided access to personal, proprietary and/or otherwise confidential data, maintains such data in the strictest confidence and follows procedures to ensure the privacy, security and proper use of data.

 

Preferred Qualifications

* Strong user interface skills, including experience with JSF.
* Previous experience working as a developer on a full lifecycle project.
