Title: Storage Engineer (Admin)
Location: Omaha, NE
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: As low as possible

Responsibilities:
• You will be responsible for the installation, administration,
data-migration, provisioning, and decommissioning of large multi-site SAN
environments. 
• Must be able to support a heterogeneous environment of distributed (or
open) systems with 5 PetaBytes of EMC and IBM storage, 6500 SAN ports, and
vendor specific management tools.
• Understanding of storage allocation and performance in a clustered
environment of 6000+ Windows, VMWare, IBM LPARs, Sun zones, and Linux
systems.
• Successful candidate will work independently with large geographically
dispersed project teams to determine requirements and size appropriate
solutions.
 
Candidate requirements:
• Self-motivated, reliable individual with the ability to deliver on
multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prior work experience with provisioning, troubleshooting, and
administering EMC storage hardware including Symmetrix, VMAX, Clariion,
Enterprise Disk Libarary (EDL), Celerra, and Centera.
• Prior work experience with EMC SAN management tools  including EMC Control
Center, Connectrix (ECFM), Time Finder, Symmetrix Remote Data Facility
(SRDF), Performance Manager, Storage Scope, Symcli, and NetApp (Onaro)
SANscreen.
• Prior experience with IBM XIV and DS8000 arrays.
• Prior work experience with setup and zoning of enterprise SAN switches
from Brocade and McData in a core/edge framework
• Plans and implements the design and installation of subsystems, software,
and/or hardware.
• Will be required to participate in rotating 24x7x365 on call duties.
