Requirement # 01

Position         : Business Intelligence/Business Analyst

Location        : Thousand Oaks, CA

Duration        : 6 Months

Rate              : $40/hr C2C

Exp Level       : 6-7 Yrs

Job Description

Must Have Skills:

• Scientific Affairs business Knowledge (Publications)
• Good Communication and Client Facing Skills.
• Working Knowledge on BI Tools like Cognos, Business Objects, Brio Query, Crystal Reports, etc.
• Should be able to explain the technical issues/challenges in business terms to the business users.
• Knowledge on database querying.

Desired Skills:

• Working experience in Life Sciences domain.
• Prior experience as Business Analyst/System Analyst

Job Roles / Responsibilities:     

• Interact with the Business Users and create the Requirement specification for BI Reports development.
• Conduct periodic reviews on deliverables from both Testing and Development Team.
• Review/Perform the smoke testing of the deliverables.
• Create the Training Material/Coordinate with the Training Department for creation of User Training Manual for both BI Reports and Application

 

Requirement # 02

Position         : Cognos Architect

Location        : Atlanta, GA

Duration        : 6 Weeks + probable ext.

Rate             : $45/hr C2C

Exp Level       : 8-9 + Yrs

Job Description:

• Very strong data modeling architect experience - to design and build cubes and develop analytical reporting on top of it.
• The candidate would be give the requirement and he/she should take it from there until building a solution and presenting it to the client.
• Strong Cognos report development experience in ver... 8.4 or least 8.3 to satisfy the above.
• Strong Administration Experience - Installation, Configuration - Single Sign on, LDAP, security setup, Portal Integration are key required skills. UNIX/AIX/Solaris and Windows Admin experience is preferred.
• Tools required (Mandatory) - Cognos Framework, Report Studio, Power Play, Metrics Studio, Oracle, Designer Tool (ERWIN, ER Studio etc) , Portal (Web Sphere etc).
• Desired Skills - Analysis Studio, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, DB2.
