Location: Cary, NC

Duration: 6+ Months Contract 

 

 

Interview: Phone and F2F (if they are near another CS office they can do a video conference interview

daily rate structure: anything over 5 hours is a full day including Saturday and Sunday.

 

 

NEED:

Senior Developer.

Expert in .NET framework using C#

·  4+ years with C#

·  SQLs / Stored Procedures using Sybase, Oracle or SQL Server

·  7+ years professional IT experience as a Developer

·  Understanding Mortgage Backed Securities and Structured Products business (fixed income)

THis person may come from a java/j2ee background or c++ backgorund then focusing on C# in recent years.

 

Responsibilities

• As a Developer, you will be primarily responsible for handling the development and support needs of in-house applications catering to the trading and risk management functionalities of Mortgage Backed Securities. You should be able to understand thoroughly the end-to-end application development methodology, become fully conversant with all tools to provide effective end-to-end application support. There are multiple components built using C++/C# that used TIBCO based EMS for communicating between each others. Since the applications' data store if Oracle (Risk management) and Sybase (trading), a thorough knowledge of SQL is also one of the qualifying criteria.

Essential Skills

• Has experience of the software development lifecycle.
• Has a continued desire to work across multiple projects whenever there is a requirement.
• Excellent communicating skills and experience supporting end users with their day-to-days issues.
• Ability to coordinate cohesively with the  development/support/business analysis team
• Willingness and enthusiasm to perform in this specific role that is a combination of developer and support specialist.
• Expert in .NET framework using C#
• 4+ years with C#
• SQLs / Stored Procedures using Sybase, Oracle or SQL Server
• 7+ years professional IT experience as a Developer
