Client is looking an ETL / Data warehouse developer with a lot of experience as an ETL/data warehouse developer for a 3+ months contract in MN.
Description:
A good candidate will have strong SQL skills in an Oracle data warehousing environment (not someone who merely knows Informatica or a similar ETL tool) to enhance and maintain our 400-query manual ETL script. Many of these queries are very large - 5-10 pages long. Local candidate preferred.
This person will need to work independently, have strong organizational skills and be able to have conversations directly with our internal users. Candidates will need to have data analysis skills to debug and trace where in the feed certain data errors are being introduced and how to change the feed to fix those problems.
Someone who has experience in the above will also have experience with performance tuning with raw SQL using the Oracle explain plan/execution plan.
