Description/ Required Skills:

·         Client is looking for a report architect to lead our report infrastructure build out.

·         Currently we have SSRS 2005 in place and client will need to upgrade that infrastructure to 2008 to start.

·         Client also need someone to assist with creating our reporting data infrastructure and make appropriate business intelligence (BI) solution recommendations, either through a de-normalized reporting model, cubes, or some other technology.

·         Client is a Microsoft shop for the most part, so lean towards those solutions but are open to recommendations.

·         In addition to recommending and executing on an architecture, other tasks that would need to be completed include creating an ETL process directly from salesforce.com (SFDC), utilizing the APIs available.

·         Report Architect Specialist.

·         Recommend a reporting infrastructure.

·         Execute on recommendation, must fit into existing architecture.

·         Generate and deploy reports using SSRS.

·         Create ETL process for collecting reporting data from multiple back-end systems including Oracle, DB2 and SFDC.

 

Required Skills:

·         In-depth experience with SQL Server Reporting Services Architecture, conversion and deployment.

·         Develop new & enhance existing reports using SQL Server Reporting Solutions (SSRS) and SQL Server, T-SQL.

·         Above average ability in SQL using Enterprise Manager to write queries, stored procedures, apply indexes, and utilize SSIS.

·         Previous experience with other BI concepts and best practices.

·         Ability to create ETL processes to support reporting infrastructure using SSIS and Salesforce.com APIs.

·         Exceptional written and verbal communication.

·         Ability to efficiently manage time and multiple priorities.

 

Education:

·         At least 3-4 years of hands on SQL and SSRS experience a must
